There are so many sports. Played so many ways. There is a principal that states that every man, young or old, must like sports…. must love sports.
I don’t.
I will not watch them on a plane. I will not watch them in the rain. I will not watch them here or there. I will not watch them anywhere.
OK, so maybe I don’t like watching sports. I don’t mind playing sports, but that involves physical movement on my part, there-by making the sport non-spectator.
I can’t make myself watch sports on TV. Being at the games is better, but not by much. And I really hate ESPN. I have even tried to like sports to fit in with my friends, but I can’t. Perhaps, the fall of sports is due to its repetitive nature. Team plays Team. One team wins. The other loses. Rinse, Wash, and Repeat. Every year. Yes, there are different players, but none that can play an entire team by their self. Not much change from year to year.
And the game? Run, Score, Repeat. For the Love. Can we get options to fall out of the sky? Imagine with me.
“Peyton Manning throws the ball down the field….and it’s intercepted by “someone” ….Ohh, but wait!….Manning picks up the Beanbag Gun and levels his opponent with a heavy barrage of beans.”
More Exciting, Right?
Let me know what you think.
